LaserCraft uses Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) photo-triggering technology, a complete aboveground system that assures non-intrusive implementation and operation. LaserCraft's red light monitoring system requires NO LOOPS OR IN-ROAD SENSORS of any kind. LaserCraft has applied our unsurpassed expertise in laser rangefinder and speed measurement technology to develop this affordable and reliable vehicle sensor technology.

Advantages of laser detection include:

  • Complete aboveground system that assures non-intrusive implementation and operation
  • Eliminates disruption to roadway or blocking traffic during installation and maintenance of in-ground loops or sensors
  • Lane specific monitoring is a highly accurate, dedicated triggering technology that assures red light tickets are not erroneously issued to another vehicle.
  • Technology is based on IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police) approved and certified LIDAR speed-measuring devices, which are endorsed by the US Department of Transportation (NHTSA & FHWA) and US Department of Commerce (NIST)

LaserCraft's veteran implementation and installation teams will work with City or County officials to establish a rapid, responsible plan to implement a full turnkey red light camera enforcement system that will enhance traffic safety throughout the jurisdiction.
